Dar Moqri
Dar Moqri
Dar Moqri is a grand mansion located within the old city of Fez, constructed and maintained by the Moqri family from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Visitors go here to see preserved examples of traditional Moroccan architecture, specifically the ornate interior decorations and craftsmanship typical of the period.
Getting There
The mansion is situated inside the Medina of Fez. Because the old city consists of a dense network of narrow pedestrian alleys, it is reached on foot from the city centre. Depending on your starting point within the Medina, the walk typically takes 10 to 20 minutes.
Visit Duration
Allow approximately 45 to 90 minutes to walk through the rooms and observe the architectural details of the residence.
When to Visit
Visiting during the morning hours helps avoid the peak midday heat and the largest crowds of tour groups. The spring and autumn seasons offer the most moderate temperatures for walking through the city's pedestrian zones.

- Lalla Ghariba Mosque (0.4km)
