This is a Theravada Buddhist temple located in George Town, Penang. It is the only Sri Lankan temple in the state and serves as a site for the enshrining of a Buddha relic. The temple is located within George Town. From the city centre, it is accessible via a short taxi or ride-sharing trip, typically taking about 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

When to Visit
Visitors should be aware that the temple draws large crowds of worshippers during Vesak Day, which may result in significant congestion. Outside of major religious holidays, it is generally quieter. As with most religious sites, modest dress is required.
