Located on the northeast side of the isthmus connecting the Rock of Gibraltar to mainland Spain, this is a sandy beach used primarily for swimming. It is the widest beach in Gibraltar, providing a dedicated area for those looking to access the sea.

Getting There

The beach is accessible from the city centre via a short taxi ride or a walk of approximately 15 to 20 minutes, depending on your starting point. It is situated near the border crossing with Spain.

Duration of Visit

Depending on whether you intend to swim or simply walk along the shore, allow between 1 and 3 hours for a visit.

When to Visit

The beach is most frequented during the summer months when temperatures are higher. It can become crowded during weekends and public holidays. Visiting in the early morning typically avoids the peak crowds.
