The springs are situated a short distance from Gisenyi. Most visitors reach the site via local transport or hired taxis from the city centre. The journey typically takes a few minutes depending on traffic and the specific starting point within the town.

Allow approximately one to two hours for a visit. This provides enough time to bathe in the geothermal pools and walk along the immediate lakeside area.
