A Roman Catholic diocese headquartered in Nyundo, near Gisenyi, Rwanda. It serves as a regional center of faith under the Archdiocese of Kigali.

Nyamyumba hot springs
A natural hot spring on the eastern shore of Lake Kivu, not far from Gisenyi. Water warmed by volcanic geothermal heat rises here, and visitors can bathe in two separate pools for men and women.
