AtmosFear
Overview
AtmosFear is a 116-meter drop tower located within the Liseberg amusement park in Gothenburg. As the second-tallest drop tower in Europe, it carries riders up before dropping them in a 100-meter free fall. Travellers visit for the drop ride experience and the elevated view over the surrounding city.
Getting There
From central Gothenburg, trams and buses run regularly to Korsvägen or the main entrance of Liseberg, taking about 10 to 15 minutes. Passengers arriving at Landvetter Airport (GOT) can reach Korsvägen directly via airport shuttle buses.
Time to Allow
The ride cycle takes only a few minutes, but you should allow 30 to 60 minutes to account for queueing. Exploring the wider park grounds requires several hours or a full day.
When to Visit
The attraction gets crowded during the summer season and on weekends, which leads to long queues. Midday and afternoon hours see the heaviest traffic. Visit early in the day or later in the evening to find shorter lines.
