Lam Sơn Square
Lam Son Square
Lam Son Square is a public open space located in the center of District 1, surrounding the Ho Chi Minh City Municipal Theatre. Travelers visit this area to walk around the theater's exterior and observe the surrounding urban architecture and city traffic.
Getting There
The square is situated in the heart of the city center. If you are staying in the District 1 area, it is accessible within a few minutes by foot. From other parts of the city, taxis or ride-sharing services can drop you off directly at the perimeter of the square.
Duration of Visit
Since the square serves as a transit point and a viewing area for the theater, most visitors spend between 30 and 60 minutes here. This is typically enough time to walk the perimeter and take photographs of the municipal building.
When to Visit
The area is open to the public throughout the day. Early mornings or evenings are generally preferred to avoid the midday heat. Be aware that the square often becomes crowded with pedestrians and tourists, particularly during weekends and public holidays.
