Victoria Peak is the highest point on Hong Kong Island. Visitors go there to view the city skyline, Hong Kong Island, and Victoria Harbour from an elevated vantage point.

Getting There

From the city centre, the summit is accessible via the Peak Tram or by bus. The journey time varies depending on the mode of transport and traffic conditions, but typically takes between 20 to 40 minutes.

Duration of Visit

Allow approximately 2 to 3 hours to travel to the summit, walk around the viewing areas, and return to the city.

When to Visit

The site is frequently crowded, particularly during weekends and public holidays. Visiting during the early morning or late afternoon allows for different lighting conditions over the harbour. Be aware that weather conditions can affect visibility of the city below.
