Tubli Bay
Overview
Tubli Bay is a sheltered natural inlet located between Bahrain Island and Sitra Island, positioned just south of the Manama peninsula. Travelers visit primarily to observe the calm sea views and take in open vistas overlooking Nabih Saleh Island.
Getting There
From central Isa Town or downtown Manama, the bay is reachable by car or taxi in approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Travelers arriving from Bahrain International Airport (BAH) can reach the area in about 20 to 25 minutes via the main highways.
Time to Allow
Plan to spend roughly 45 minutes to 1.5 hours in the area. This allows sufficient time to view the water and explore accessible vantage points along the shore.
When to Go
Early morning and late afternoon are the most suitable times of day, providing cooler temperatures and avoiding the midday heat. The cooler months between November and March are preferable for outdoor viewing. The location is rarely crowded, though local visitors may gather near the water during weekend evenings.
What to Combine It With
A visit here can easily be paired with stops in neighboring districts:
- Bu Ashira (2 km)
- Mahooz (2.3 km)
- Ghuraifa (2.4 km)
- Bu Ghazal (3.2 km)
