Holy Trinity Church, Karakol
A Russian Orthodox wooden church in Karakol, built between 1894 and 1895. Located 12 km from Lake Issyk-Kul at an elevation of 1,758 m, it's a great spot to take in the surrounding scenery.

Przhevalsky Museum
A museum in Karakol dedicated to the life and travels of Przhevalsky, the Russian explorer of Central Asia. His grave lies nearby on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul and makes for a fitting visit alongside the museum.
Nature
Arashan River
This river originates in the Teskey Ala-Too range and flows near Karakol and Lake Issyk-Kul. It's a great route for trekking through a valley that combines the hot-spring village of Altyn-Arashan with the Palatka Glacier.
