Landakotskirkja

Landakotskirkja is the only Catholic cathedral in Iceland, located in Kópavogur, just west of Reykjavík. Visitors go here to see the architecture of the cathedral and to experience the religious center of the Catholic community in the country. The cathedral hosts masses in Icelandic, Polish, and English to accommodate its diverse congregation.

The cathedral is located on the outskirts of the city center. It is accessible via local bus or a short drive from central Reykjavík, typically taking about 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic.
