Krakus Mound
The Krakus Mound is a prehistoric burial mound located on Lasota Hill south of Kraków's Old Town. It is recognized as the city's oldest man-made structure and is traditionally associated with Krak, the legendary founder of Kraków. Visitors go here to see the archaeological site and to get a wide view of the city skyline from the summit.
Getting There
The mound is located outside the city center. You can reach it via local bus or by taxi. From the Old Town, the journey typically takes 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic and the specific starting point.
