Navigating Lagos requires planning around the divide between the Mainland and Victoria Island.

• Ride-hailing: Uber and Bolt are the most reliable options, winning on comfort, air conditioning, and safety for cross-city trips.
• Blue Line Rail: Running from Marina to Mile 2, this electric train wins on speed by avoiding coastal highway gridlock.
• Bus Rapid Transit (BRT): Operating in dedicated median lanes, these buses win against peak traffic on major corridors.
• Lagoon ferries: Regulated passenger boats connect terminals like Ikorodu and CMS, winning by bypassing highway bridges entirely.

Ticketing and the Cowry Card
