Haveli of Nau Nihal Singh

The Haveli of Nau Nihal Singh is a historic mansion located in Lahore. Originally a private residence, the building currently serves as a government girls' school. Visitors go here to observe the remaining elements of traditional Sikh architecture and the structural layout of a historic haveli within the city limits.

Getting There

The site is located within the Walled City of Lahore. From the city centre, the most practical way to reach the area is by rickshaw or taxi. Depending on traffic conditions, the journey typically takes 20 to 40 minutes. Once inside the old city, navigation is primarily on foot due to the narrow streets.

Allow approximately 45 to 90 minutes to view the exterior and the visible architectural traces of the mansion.

When to Visit

The best time to visit is during the cooler months from November to February to avoid the extreme heat of the Punjab plains. Early morning visits are recommended to avoid the peak midday crowds common in the Walled City's commercial districts.
