Jallo Park
Jallo Park
Established in 1978, this public recreational park is located on the outskirts of Lahore. It serves as a nature retreat where visitors can walk through landscaped gardens and encounter various wildlife species. It is primarily used by travelers and locals for relaxation and outdoor activities away from the city's dense urban center.
Getting There
The park is situated away from the central business district. From the city center, the most practical way to reach the site is via taxi or ride-sharing services. Depending on the current traffic conditions in Lahore, the journey typically takes between 30 to 60 minutes.
Duration of Visit
A visit of 3 to 5 hours is generally sufficient to walk through the grounds, observe the animals, and utilize the recreational spaces.
When to Visit
The park is most comfortable during the cooler months from November to February. During the summer, temperatures in Lahore can be extreme, making midday visits difficult. The site tends to get crowded on weekends and public holidays when local families visit.
