What It Is

Designed by architect Jože Plečnik, this marketplace stretches along the Ljubljanica River between the Triple Bridge and Dragon Bridge. It features a monumental covered colonnade alongside open-air stalls. Visitors come to view Plečnik's classical-inspired architecture and browse local produce, flowers, and food items.

Getting There

The site sits directly in central Ljubljana. From Prešeren Square, it takes roughly two to three minutes on foot along the riverbank.

Allow 30 to 45 minutes to walk through the covered arcade, look at the river views, and explore the outdoor stalls.

When to Go
