Royal Palace, Luang Prabang

Built in 1904 on the riverbank, this site served as the residence of the Lao royal family until the monarchy ended in 1975. It now functions as a museum where visitors can view royal artifacts and exhibits detailing the lifestyle of the former monarchy.

The palace is located within the historic center of Luang Prabang. Most visitors can reach it on foot from central guesthouses and hotels within 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the starting point.
