Östra Torn is a neighborhood east of central Lund that began as an independent village in the early 12th century before being incorporated into the city in the 1970s. The district retains a mix of older village lanes alongside modern residential housing. Travellers visit to take a quiet walk and see the layout of a former rural settlement integrated into the town.
Getting There
From central Lund, the area is reachable in 10 to 15 minutes by local bus. Walking takes around 30 minutes, and cycling takes roughly 10 minutes along local bike paths.
