Overview

The Pulvermuhl Viaduct is a railway bridge crossing the valley in the Pulvermühle district on the east side of Luxembourg City. People visit mainly for a walk along the trails below, viewing the structure and its large arches against the wooded valley setting.

Getting There

From the city centre, you can reach the area on foot in approximately 10 to 15 minutes by following paths descending into the valley. Local municipal buses also serve the vicinity, followed by a brief walk to the base.

Time to Spend

Plan for about 30 to 45 minutes to explore the surrounding footpaths and view the bridge from different angles.

When to Visit

Go during daylight for clear visibility and secure footing. It rarely gets crowded, making for a quiet visit year-round. Take care on valley trails during rain or winter frost when ground surfaces become slippery.
