Cotai Strip

The wide walkways and modern infrastructure make it the most stroller-friendly part of the city.

Macau Peninsula

The historic center is located here. This area suits families interested in cultural heritage and walking tours. It is denser and more traditional, offering a closer look at the blend of Portuguese and Chinese architecture. It is ideal for those who prefer a more authentic urban atmosphere over resort luxury.

Transport and Connectivity

Most visitors arrive via Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), taking a ferry or the bridge bus to Macau. Once in the city, transport varies by area:

• Cotai Strip: Highly accessible via free shuttle buses operated by resorts, which connect guests to the ferry terminals and the border gate to Zhuhai.
• Macau Peninsula: Best navigated via public buses and taxis. It provides direct access to the Ruins of St. Paul's and Senado Square, though streets can be crowded.
