Oriente square
What It Is
Oriente Square is a public square and landscaped garden located directly east of the Royal Palace of Madrid. It features manicured hedges, rows of stone statues portraying historic Spanish monarchs, and open vantage points of the palace facade. Travellers visit to walk the grounds, rest outdoors, and observe the surrounding architecture.
Getting There
From central Madrid hubs such as Puerta del Sol, walking to the square takes roughly 5 to 10 minutes westward. The closest metro stop is Ópera, situated just behind the square.
