Al Azim Mosque
Overview
Al Azim Mosque is Malacca's official state mosque, opened in 1990 to replace the older Tranquerah Mosque. Standing alongside the general hospital, a Quran museum, and the state heroes' mausoleum, it serves as an active place of worship and pilgrimage. Travellers visit to observe regional Islamic architecture and contemporary religious life in Malacca.
Getting There
Located northeast of central Malacca, the site is reachable by taxi or rideshare from the city centre in roughly 10 to 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
