Hochelaga-Maisonneuve is a neighborhood located on the eastern edge of Montreal, situated just south of the Olympic Stadium area. Originally developed as an industrial district, it is characterized by traditional residential architecture, local shops, and neighborhood dining. Getting There
From downtown Montreal, the district is easily reached via the Green Line of the metro eastbound toward stations such as Pie-IX or Joliette. The metro ride takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Traveling by car or taxi from the city centre takes roughly 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic.

Afternoons are generally the best time to visit, as neighborhood businesses and cafes are active with foot traffic.
