St Paul's Island is a small, uninhabited landmass located off the northeast coast of Malta. Visitors go here to see the natural rock formations and the coastal scenery. Because the island is very small, it is often used as a destination for boat trips and snorkeling rather than long-term exploration.

Getting There

The island is located near the town of Mosta. To reach it, travelers must travel from the city center to the coast and hire a boat, as there is no bridge or ferry service connecting the mainland to the island. The transit time from Mosta to the coast is approximately 10 to 15 minutes by car or taxi.

Duration of Visit

Due to its limited size, most visitors spend between 1 and 3 hours on the island. This allows enough time to walk the perimeter and observe the shoreline.

When to Visit

The best time to visit is during the spring or autumn to avoid the peak summer heat. Early morning is recommended to avoid larger groups of tourists. The area can become crowded during the summer months when boat tours are more frequent.
