Castella de Aguada
Located at Land's End in Bandra, this site is a Portuguese fort built in 1640. Originally constructed as a watchtower, the structure provides a vantage point overlooking Mahim Bay and the Arabian Sea. Visitors go here to see the remaining fortifications and weathered fortifications and to observe the coastline of Mumbai.
Getting There
The fort is located in the Bandra West neighborhood. From the city centre (Colaba or Fort area), you can reach the site via taxi, ride-sharing apps, or the suburban railway to Bandra Station followed by a short local transport trip.
