Moosach
Overview
Moosach is Munich's 10th district, situated in the northwest of the Bavarian capital. It is divided into the urban districts of Hartmannshofen, Pressestadt, and Borstei. Travellers typically visit to browse local retail streets or view the distinctive residential architecture of the Borstei area.
Getting There
Direct public transit connects the district to central Munich. Taking the U-Bahn (U1 or U3) or S-Bahn (S1) from the central station or Marienplatz takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

Set aside 1 to 2 hours to walk through the neighborhood and explore the main streets and residential courtyards.
When to Go
Daytime is ideal for walking and shopping. Commercial areas and transit stations get crowded during weekday commuter rush hours and on Saturday afternoons. Midday during the week offers fewer crowds.
