Parc Louise-Marie

Located on the site of Namur's former city walls, this public garden features a network of winding paths, an artificial grotto, and a pond. It is a space for walking and observing local waterfowl, such as ducks and swans, in a quiet environment.

Getting There

The park is situated within the urban area of Namur. From the city centre, it is accessible via a short walk of approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

Duration of Visit

Depending on the pace of your walk, allow 45 to 90 minutes to traverse the paths and spend time by the pond.

When to Visit

The garden is best visited during the spring and summer months when the vegetation is in bloom. Morning or late afternoon visits are generally quieter. Like most public parks, it can become more crowded during weekends and sunny holidays.

Because of its central location, the park can be combined with visits to other local landmarks. Within walking distance, you can find:

  • St Aubin's Cathedral (0.3km)
