Lake Krupac
Lake Krupac
Lake Krupac is a natural body of water located on the outskirts of Nikšić, Montenegro. It is primarily visited for swimming and outdoor relaxation, as the clear water is surrounded by a mountain landscape.
Getting There
The lake is situated a short distance from the Nikšić city centre. It is accessible by car or local transport, typically taking a few minutes to reach depending on the specific starting point within the city.
Duration of Visit
Depending on whether you intend to swim or simply walk around the perimeter, allow between two to four hours for a visit.
When to Visit
The site is most active during the summer months when locals visit for swimming. Because of this, the area can become crowded during weekends and peak summer holidays. Visiting during the shoulder seasons or on weekdays generally offers a quieter experience.
Combining with Other Sites
Due to its location, the lake can be combined with other points of interest in and around Nikšić:
- Nikšić Royal Palace (6km)
- Saint Basil of Ostrog Orthodox cathedral in Nikšić (6km)
- Carev most (9.5km)
- Pandurica (10.6km)
