Leventis Gallery
Overview
The Leventis Gallery is an art museum in central Nicosia housing approximately 800 works by Cypriot, Greek, and European painters. Travellers visit to study works spanning multiple centuries and explore regional and European artistic movements in one venue.
Getting There
Located in the city centre, the museum is a 2-minute walk from Eleftheria Square. Travellers arriving at Larnaca International Airport (LCA) can take an intercity bus or taxi to central Nicosia and proceed on foot.
Time to Spend
Plan to spend between 1.5 and 2 hours to view the permanent collection and temporary exhibits.
When to Visit
Weekday mornings are the quietest time to visit. Crowds are generally manageable, though weekends see more local visitors. Midday visits during the summer provide a comfortable indoor break from high outdoor temperatures.
