Situated on the northern bank of the Drava River, this is the largest zoo and aquarium facility in Croatia. It holds a variety of animal enclosures and indoor aquatic exhibits, alongside clear views across the water toward the Osijek city skyline.
Getting There
The site is located across the Drava River from the town centre. Walking or cycling across the pedestrian bridge takes roughly 15 to 20 minutes from central Osijek.
Visiting Time
Allow 1.5 to 2.5 hours to tour the outdoor pathways and indoor aquarium sections at a steady pace.
When to Go
Spring and autumn provide the best walking weather. During summer, go in the morning or late afternoon when temperatures are cooler and animals are more active. Weekend afternoons tend to see the highest visitor traffic.
