About the River Path
Akerselva is a river flowing from Lake Maridalsvannet into the fjord at Bjørvika. A continuous pedestrian trail follows the water through public parks, neighborhoods, and historic industrial areas. Visitors walk or cycle along the riverbanks to see waterfalls, bridges, and green space through central Oslo.
