St. Mary of the Snow Church
Located on Havihegy Hill at the foot of Mecsek Mountain, this church was constructed in the late 17th century as an act of gratitude following a plague epidemic. Visitors come here for the religious architecture and the panoramic view of Pécs. A notable feature of the grounds is an old, uniquely shaped almond tree that was previously recognized as the European Tree of the Year.
