Tettye
Exploring Tettye
Tettye is a hillside residential and historic district connected to the center of Pécs. Its name is derived from an old word meaning "monastery." Travelers visit this area to walk through its lanes and observe the local neighborhood's architecture and atmosphere.

The area is located on the slopes overlooking the city. It is accessible from the city center via a short walk or local transport, typically taking about 10 to 15 minutes depending on the starting point and pace of ascent.
