Moscow Bridge
What It Is
Moscow Bridge is a pedestrian-only footbridge crossing the Morača River in downtown Podgorica. Travelers visit primarily for a quiet riverside walk and an unobstructed view of the adjacent Millennium Bridge and the river canyon below. Built-in benches along the walkway provide a place to sit and observe the river corridor connecting different parts of the city.
Getting There
The bridge connects the city center with the newer district across the Morača River. From Independence Square, walking takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes along central streets directly to the riverbank.
Time to Allow
Plan for roughly 10 to 20 minutes. This provides enough time to walk across, take in the views of the river and neighboring bridge, and pause on the walkway.
When to Visit
Late afternoon or evening is the most comfortable time to visit, especially during the summer when midday heat can be severe. The area is illuminated after dark. It rarely gets excessively crowded, though foot traffic from pedestrians and local residents picks up in the early evening.

Due to its central position, it is easy to combine a crossing with other sites in downtown Podgorica:
