Bindhyabasini Temple

This is the oldest Hindu temple in Pokhara, dedicated to the goddess Durga. Visitors come here to observe local religious practices and explore the main sanctuary along with several smaller shrines dedicated to other deities located within the temple grounds.

Getting There

The temple is located within the city limits of Pokhara. From the city centre, it is accessible via a short taxi ride or a walk, typically taking about 10 to 15 minutes depending on your starting point.

Allow approximately 1 to 2 hours to walk through the grounds, visit the various shrines and observe the worshippers.
