This 14th-century Serbian Orthodox monastery was established by Emperor Stefan Dušan and serves as the site of his tomb. Visitors go here to see a primary example of Serbian Orthodox architecture and historical religious art from the medieval period.

The monastery is located on the outskirts of Prizren. From the city centre, it is most efficient to take a taxi or a local bus. The journey typically takes about 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic.
