Jinnah Park
Located in the Chaklala Cantonment area of Rawalpindi, this 17-hectare site functions as a public amusement park and green space. Visitors go here for outdoor recreation, walking paths, and to see the statue of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the first Governor-General of Pakistan, situated at the entrance.
Getting There
The park is accessible from Rawalpindi city centre via rickshaw or ride-sharing services. Depending on traffic conditions, the journey typically takes 15 to 30 minutes.
Duration of Visit
A visit of 2 to 4 hours is generally sufficient to walk through the grounds and use the available facilities.
When to Visit
The park is most comfortable during the cooler months of winter or in the early morning and late afternoon during other seasons to avoid the midday heat. It becomes crowded on weekends and public holidays when local families gather for leisure.
