Treasure Island
Treasure Island is an artificial island located in the San Francisco Bay. Originally constructed to host the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition, the site retains historic exposition grounds and buildings. Visitors go here to walk through the historic areas and view the San Francisco city skyline across the water.
Getting There
The island is accessible from the city centre of San Francisco via the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge. Depending on traffic and the specific starting point in the city, the drive typically takes 15 to 30 minutes.

When to Visit
