Namsan

Namsan is a mountain located in the center of Seoul. Travelers visit the site to access N Seoul Tower at the summit, which provides a vantage point for viewing the city skyline. The area consists of walking trails and a cable car system for ascending the peak.

Getting There

The mountain is accessible from the city center via public buses or the Namsan cable car. Depending on the starting point in downtown Seoul, the journey typically takes 20 to 40 minutes.

Allow approximately 3 to 5 hours to ascend the mountain, visit the tower, and walk through the surrounding park areas.

When to Visit

The site is popular during the spring for cherry blossoms and in autumn for foliage. It gets crowded on weekends and during public holidays. Visiting during the evening allows for views of the city lights.
