Brani Island
Pulau Brani is an island located off the southern coast of Singapore, near Keppel Harbour. The island is situated between the main island of Singapore and the resort island of Sentosa, and is linked to the mainland via Brani Terminal Avenue. The area of Pulau Brani is 1.22 square kilometres. The island was previously home for Orang Laut, and in Malay, the meaning of Pulau Brani is “isle of the brave”.

If you're near the area, you'll most likely see it from Sentosa or from boats passing through Keppel Harbour rather than stepping onto it directly.
Time to allow
Because the island isn't geared toward public access, there's no typical "visit duration" to plan for. If you do have a specific reason to be there (for example, port-related business), treat it as a brief stop rather than an outing.
When to go
Given the lack of public facilities, timing considerations like crowds or seasons don't really apply here. If you're viewing the island from nearby vantage points such as Sentosa, cooler and drier parts of the day are generally more comfortable for being outdoors in Singapore's tropical climate.
What to combine it with
Since Brani Island itself isn't a standalone stop, plan your time around Sentosa (1.4km), which offers full day access to beaches and attractions, and Universal Studios Singapore (1.4km), both a short distance away. The 2018 North Korea–United States Singapore Summit site (1.5km) is nearby for those interested in that history, and Capital Tower (2.5km) is within reach if your day extends into the central business district.
