Museum Bredius
Overview
Museum Bredius displays a private collection of 17th-century paintings and prints left by art historian Abraham Bredius. Housed in an 18th-century townhouse, the exhibits incorporate period furnishings to recreate a historical residential atmosphere.
Getting There
The museum is situated in central The Hague. Walking from the main shopping district or Den Haag Centraal takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Several tram lines also stop near the surrounding Binnenhof area.
Time to Allow
Plan for 45 to 75 minutes. The building is compact, allowing visitors to view the entire townhouse and collection without an extensive time commitment.
When to Visit
The venue rarely encounters heavy crowds, making it an easy stop throughout the year. Weekday mornings and early afternoons are particularly quiet.
