Overview
The Thessaloniki Science Center and Technology Museum is an educational center in Thermi, on the outskirts of Thessaloniki. It features interactive science exhibits, a digital planetarium, a motion-simulation room, and a large-screen theater. Visitors go to engage with hands-on technology displays and watch astronomy presentations.

Situated toward Thessaloniki Airport (SKG), the facility is a 20- to 30-minute drive or taxi ride from central Thessaloniki. City buses running toward Thermi reach the area in about 45 to 60 minutes.
Time to Allow
Allow 2 to 3 hours to tour the permanent galleries and attend a planetarium or simulator screening.
When to Go
Weekday mornings frequently see student groups, whereas weekends bring family crowds. The indoor venue is particularly useful during extreme summer heat or rainy weather.
