MS Bore
MS Bore
The MS Bore is a retired passenger ship permanently moored in Turku. Built in 1960 at the Oskarshamn shipyard in Sweden, it holds historical significance as the first ferry on the Finland–Sweden route capable of carrying vehicles. After its initial service, it was converted into a cruise ship. Visitors go here to explore the maritime architecture and the interior of a mid-century vessel that represents the evolution of Baltic Sea travel.
Getting There
The ship is located near the waterfront, within walking distance from the Turku city centre. Depending on your starting point downtown, the walk typically takes between 10 and 20 minutes.
