The gardens are located within the fortified city of Valletta. From the city centre, the site is accessible via a short walk. Depending on your starting point in the central district, it typically takes between 5 to 10 minutes to reach the entrance on foot.

Because of its size and nature as a leisure spot, most visitors spend approximately 30 to 60 minutes here. This allows enough time for a slow stroll through the grounds.
