Overview

Paradox Vancouver is a 60-story hotel and residential skyscraper located in downtown Vancouver. Completed in 2016, it is the city's second-tallest building after Shangri-La Tower. Travelers visit primarily to view its distinctive twisted exterior architecture from street level or to access the hotel and dining facilities inside.

Getting There

Situated directly in the downtown core, the tower is accessible on foot within 5 to 10 minutes from most central downtown locations. It is also a short walk from nearby downtown SkyTrain transit stations.

Time to Spend

Allow 15 to 30 minutes if you are viewing and photographing the exterior from the street. Plan for 1 to 2 hours if you are visiting for on-site dining.

When to Visit

Clear daylight hours provide the best visibility for viewing the building's architecture against the skyline. Sidewalks around the base experience heavier pedestrian crowds during weekday morning and evening commute hours, making mid-day a quieter time to stop by.
