Christ Church Cathedral
Overview
Christ Church Cathedral is an active Anglican church on Burrard Street in downtown Vancouver, across from the Fairmont Hotel. Visitors come to see its historic architecture and stained glass, and to experience a quiet, historic space in the city centre.
Getting There
Located in central downtown, it is a 5- to 10-minute walk from most downtown areas. It is also directly next to Burrard SkyTrain station.
Suggested Duration
Plan for 20 to 40 minutes. This gives you ample time to view the interior woodwork and stained glass.
When to Visit
Weekday mornings and early afternoons are ideal. The interior rarely gets crowded, though sightseeing is restricted during regular church services, weddings, and rehearsals.
