Jiali Plaza
What It Is
Completed in 1997, Jiali Plaza is a 251-meter, 61-story skyscraper in Wuhan. It is an established feature of the city's skyline, visited mainly for its exterior architecture, base retail areas, and convenient position in central Hankou.
Getting There
Located in the city centre, it is easily reached by metro or taxi. Expect a 15 to 30-minute ride on the metro or 10 to 20 minutes by taxi, depending on traffic.
Time to Allow
Allow 30 to 45 minutes to see the tower and explore the lower floors, or 10 to 15 minutes for a quick exterior stop.
When to Visit
Late afternoon and evening offer good views of the illuminated tower. Spring and autumn have the mildest weather for walking. Sidewalks and retail areas become crowded during weekday rush hours and weekend afternoons.
