Dolomiti Superski
Dolomiti Superski ist ein Verbund von zwölf Skigebieten in den Dolomiten, deren Skilifte und Pisten mit einem einzigen Skipass genutzt werden können. Europe's largest ski network
Dolomiti Superski is a linked network of ski resorts spread across the Dolomites in northeastern Italy, covering roughly 3,000 km² and 1,246 km of marked slopes across 12 resort areas. Rather than a single mountain or resort, it's an interconnected system that lets skiers move between valleys and villages on lifts and groomed runs, with the surrounding limestone peaks giving the terrain a distinctive look compared to other Alpine ski regions. It also hosts World Cup alpine skiing and snowboarding events during the season.
Getting there
Because Dolomiti Superski spans many valleys rather than one base town, access depends on which resort area you're starting from — there is no single "city centre" to depart from. Common gateway points include Corvara, Selva di Val Gardena, and Cortina d'Ampezzo, each with its own lift access into the network. If arriving by air, Venice Marco Polo (VCE) and Innsbruck (INN) are the airports most travellers use, with onward transfers to the mountains typically taking two to three hours by car or bus.
How much time to allow
This is a multi-day destination rather than a half-day stop. A single day gives you access to only a fraction of the linked slopes; skiers aiming to sample several resort areas typically plan for a week or more.
When to go
The ski season runs through the winter months, with conditions and snow cover varying by year and altitude. Slopes and lifts get busiest during peak holiday periods (Christmas/New Year and February school holidays), so early or late season visits tend to be quieter.

The peak of Piz Boè sits right within the ski area, about 0.9 km away, and is accessible via the lift network in winter or on foot in summer. Nearby mountain passes worth combining with a visit include the Campolongo Pass (3.6 km) and Gardena Pass (3.8 km), both scenic driving routes through the Dolomites. The Alta Badia resort area (5.3 km) is one of the Dolomiti Superski's constituent zones and a natural base for exploring this part of the network.
