Allianz Tower
Allianz Tower, also known as Isozaki Tower and il Dritto, is a 50-floor, 260-metre-tall (850 ft) skyscraper in Milan, Italy. Designed by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki and Italian architect Andrea Maffei, it serves as the headquarters of the Italian subsidiary Allianz SpA.

Getting there
From Milan's city centre (around Duomo), the CityLife district is roughly a 20-25 minute journey by metro, taking the M5 (lilac) line to Tre Torri station, which sits right at the base of the tower. By taxi or car, allow about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
Time to allow
Viewing the tower and walking around the CityLife plaza and shopping area at its base takes about 30-45 minutes. Add extra time if you plan to browse the shops or eat in the district.

The exterior and surrounding piazza can be visited any time of day; late afternoon or early evening gives good light for photos of the glass facade. The area is generally not crowded compared to central Milan, though the plaza and shops draw more foot traffic on weekends.
