Sforza Castle
스포르체스코성(이탈리아어: Castello Sforzesco, 롬바르디아어: Castell Sforzesch)은 이탈리아의 밀라노에 있는 성채로, 지금은 도시 박물관과 예술품 전시장으로 쓰이고 있다.
Sforza Castle
Sforza Castle is a large brick fortress built in the 15th century by Francesco Sforza, Duke of Milan, on the site of an earlier 14th-century stronghold. It grew into one of Europe's largest citadels before being heavily reconstructed by Luca Beltrami around 1900. Today the complex houses several of Milan's museums, including collections of sculpture, furniture, and applied arts, and its courtyards and towers can be walked through without visiting the museums at all.
Getting there
The castle sits at the edge of Milan's historic centre, an easy walk from the Duomo, roughly 15-20 minutes on foot. It is also served directly by metro (Cairoli or Cadorna stations on line M1, or Lanza on M2), putting it a few minutes from most central hotels.
How long to stay
Walking through the courtyards and exterior takes well under an hour. Add on any of the museum collections inside and a visit can easily fill two to three hours.
When to go
The outer courtyards are open public space and tend to be busiest in the middle of the day, especially with tour groups; early morning or later afternoon is calmer. The museums inside are generally less crowded than the courtyards themselves.

- Triennale di Milano (0.5km) — a design and art museum on the park's edge.
- Teatro dal Verme (0.5km) — a historic concert venue nearby.
- Basilica of San Simpliciano (0.5km) — a quieter, older church worth a short detour.
